Filing Leave and Reporting Unscheduled Non-Working Hours

Vacation Leave
  1. Email your leave request to Hannah. Start with a clear and short subject line. State the dates of your leave, your date of return and the reason.
  2. Once she approved, send a separate email request to your assigned agent. Please copy Hannah.
  3. Once your leave request has been approved by your client, make sure that Hannah has a copy of the approval email.


  • Requesting of vacation leave is allowed after 2 months of being employed.
  • Notification and filing of leave should at least be 2 weeks (14 days) in advance. The sooner the better.
  • Employees can only request vacation leaves if there are remaining paid time off. Kindly message Hannah or Ivy to know your remaining paid time off.
  • Please note that these policies must be followed by all ia Blueprint employees.
  • Employees that are assigned to a certain agency must both follow the steps above and their assigned agency's policies and steps for filing a leave.


Sick Leave
  1. If unable to work, email your assigned agent and copy Ivy.
  2. You might be required to consult to a doctor (teleconsult or face-to-face consult). Once you reported back to work, send the proof of consultation or medical certificate to Ivy.

  • You may use your ia Blueprint email or personal email.
  • If you are unable to send email, please notify Ivy - send a text message to her phone number or send a message to her Facebook account.


Tardy / Absence / Early Out due to Emergency
  • If unable to work, email your assigned agent and copy Ivy.
  • If you are unable to send email, please notify Ivy - send a text message to her phone number or send a message to her Facebook account.
Unscheduled Non-Working Hours

Unscheduled Non-Working hours must be reported to Ivy. You can reach out to her via Email, SMS, Facebook or Slack.

  • Internet connection issue
  • Power outages
  • Tools/Applications issue (anything inside Citrix)
  • Equipment Issue
  • Any concern/issue that might affect you from working on your tasks or anything that happens within your shift where you are unable to work
Emergency Leave

In the event that an employee faces unforeseen and urgent circumstances that require time away from work he or she should:

  • Notify your respective agent and Ivy or Xie as soon as possible, provide a brief explanation of the situation and expected duration of your absence via email.
  • If in any case that you cannot send an email to your respective agent, you shall immediately send a message to Ivy or Xie via text or Facebook messenger.
  • Upon your return, notify your respective agent via email and Ivy or Xie.

Reasons considered as emergency leave include, but are not limited to:

  • Death of a family member
  • Serious illnesses or injuries that require hospitalization or emergency medical care of an employee or an immediate family member.
  • Natural disasters, house fires, break-ins, and violence in the household of the employee that requires immediate attention or action.

If your reason for an emergency leave is not specified above, the decision whether it will be considered as emergency leave or not lies to your respective agent and ia Blueprint management.


All emergency leave will be deducted from your sick leave credits. In the event that you do not have any available sick leave credits, the emergency leave may be deemed unpaid, or it may be deducted from your remaining vacation leave credits at the discretion of your respective agent.


Please be reminded that late notices are only allowed for emergency leaves. If you will be late or absent for a non-emergency reason, you must notify your respective agent and Ivy or Xie at least one (1) hour before your scheduled shift.
