The Process:

  1. Lead is received:
    1. manually enter the basic information we have and proceed through the form.
    2. Be sure to select the “Agent Recommended” coverage limits.
    3. Always assume we are quoting home and auto; select both.
    4. Unless provided, assume the home was purchased 5 years ago, use January 1 with a year 5 years ago
      1. When selecting Water Backup, use this rule of thumb
      1. House 2,000 sq feet and under, select $25,000 of coverage
      2. House over 2,000 sq feet, select $50,000 of coverage
    5. Assume their home and auto insurance are with State Farm unless you know otherwise
    6. Assume their home and auto insurance will expire in a month from today unless you know otherwise
    7. Assume they are married unless you know otherwise
    8. Assume they have lived there for more than 3 years
    9. Vehicle: Owned, Lein, or Lease
      1. If 5 years old or under, select Lein
      2. If over 5 years old, select own
    10. Selecting Limits:
      1. Auto Liability Limits:
        1. If the home is 2,000 sq feet or under, select leave the default limits of $100,000 / $300,000 / $100,000
        2. If the home is over 2,000 square feet, select $250,000 / $500,000 / $250,000
      2. Uninsured Motorist
        1. Match auto liability limits
        2. Uninsured Motorist Property Damage
          1. If in Louisiana and the quote includes Comprehensive and Collision, do not include Uninsured Motorist Property damage.
          2. All other situations include it and a limit equal to the Property Damage limit on the auto liability limits.
