ia Blueprint Onboarding - Communication Strategies
What I usually tell people, whenever they first start talking about having a virtual employee is you're overcoming communication struggles. Most insurance agencies are used to having people inside the office or just inside of their geographic area, and they can meet up or anything like that. Well, there are ways to do the same thing virtually, and they're very effective, if not even more effective, in my opinion.
There are different things that I always suggest that I use inside of my own business, inside of my insurance agency, as well as also inside ia blueprint. One of those is called Zoom, everybody knows about that. Now, there's called Loom and a third thing is called Slack. These different things that you can use are great communication tools. I'm gonna give you just a little bit of just an overview of how we use them and I have some other videos, they're going to talk about it a little bit more.
Zoom is basically if you're going to have like a meeting with them. If you want to have a meeting to talk about policy procedures, processes, are just checking with them to see how they're doing. This is a great tool that you can use to just communicate with them, where you can have interaction back and forth. One of the great things about it is you can record that and give that to the employee to use as a tutorial. Tutorials is a complex part of the process but it doesn't have to be, you can use Zoom to make it very simple.
Another thing is called Loom, one of them got Z on the beginning with the other one's got an L on the beginning of it. Zoom, you're going to have a conversation with two people, Loom is you're going to be just talking about how to do something and record your screen on your computer to show somebody how to do something.
The third thing is going to be Slack. Slack or teams or one of those things is just a messaging platform to communicate with that employee so that they can know what's going on maybe address some short question or different things like that.
So, if you want to communicate with your Virtual Employee, effectively, try these different tools. One of them is zoom, the second is loom and the third is slack. Those three tools will help you to communicate with your virtual employees, as well as also all of your staff more effectively.
