It\u2019s easier \u2014 safer \u2014 to blend in, to follow the crowd, to build like everyone else builds.<\/p>\n<p>But what if the borders that keep you in that crowd aren\u2019t even real?<\/p>\n<p>This past week at the #AmbitionHackathon, I was reminded again: the greatest breakthroughs happen when we stop asking, \u201cWhat\u2019s everyone else doing?\u201d and start asking, \u201cWhat\u2019s possible if I think differently?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Have you set up boundaries in your business that are only visible by you?<\/p>\n<p>Have you set your business strategies based on principles that are really just suggestions?<\/p>\n<p>We limit ourselves to what\u2019s common. We follow patterns because they\u2019re familiar. We assume we can\u2019t, just because no one around us has. But those limits? They\u2019re often nothing more than inherited mindsets. Borders built out of groupthink.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes we have to break out of old patterns. To stop defaulting to what everyone else is doing and start designing a business that reflects what you actually believe \u2014 about people, purpose, and possibility.<\/p>\n<p>The truth is, most of the borders in business aren\u2019t logistical. They\u2019re philosophical.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re fear.<br \/>\nThey\u2019re comfort.<br \/>\nThey\u2019re sameness.<\/p>\n<p>The future belongs to the ones willing to think differently, lead differently, and build businesses that look like no one else\u2019s \u2014 not because they\u2019re trying to be different, but because they\u2019re brave enough to be honest.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a world where everyone\u2019s doing the same thing, standing out often feels risky.
